3 pt hitches can tend to lift the front of the tractor if you dont have a bucket or weights on the front. if you build (or buy) a logging arch it will probably work better. for those who dont know a logging arch is a single axle trailer with an arch above the axle. a pully is mouted at the top of the arch the cable(usualy mounted on the tractor)is run thru the pully. if you are handleing smaller wood a traier to stack it on could be in order. other than that i would find a used skidder far sale. matt t logger in new england
