Bcnt is right but I would only do about 20% at a time. Also the higher the water temp. the more susceptible you will be to a fish kill.. Too many dead plants will start a fish kill. This will compound the deoxygenation and you'll have a stinkhole of deadfish. You need a spray on weedkiller like Rodeo and a surfectant to facilitate adhesion. Grass carp do not eat American Lotus. Those pills and such are going to be cost prohibitive. Copper sulphate is for moss and such not American Lotus. Be careful how much you kill at one time. By the way the fish thrive in those lotus. Less Lotus = less fishing!
