It does pretty well as you can go in a little higher gear and idle down. Then when you are full open it up to wide open. Of course I would not want to haul a quarter mile! I was really amazed at how much I got done. Don't see any 707 or 708's around here. (Oregon) One of the big timber companies bought quite a few 706's. I guess they used them in their tree farms. 4wd is nice on a hill!
