I now have the crank shaft, the main bearings and the rods/pistons all in. I have not torqued them down yet going to wait for the cam to come in before doing that so lining the gears up to get them in time will be easier. Still have now found a head. Called the local salvage yard and they have a complete long block that is a crate engine. They say it has the price tag still on it that says $1250 and I can get it for $350 with a complete gasket set but I do not need the block and it is a 250 so guess I'll look around a bit more
