I read and understand the point. I once had a small business, and stocked 1 each, of a $100 item, which I got for a 20% discount off list. The discount on a box of 10 was 45%. A BIG farm supply store got that item at 45% off list, and sold them at 15% off list. Coustmers would buy from the farm supply store and come to me to ask how to hook it up. They said that I was "An ornary old man",(I am!) if I didn"t offer free advise. BUT!! My "Local" hardware store is so "High Priced" that I refuse to shop there. They want 75 cents for a 2-1/2 long, 5/16 grade 5 bolt, i"ll drive 15 miles to that farm supply store, where the sell hardware by the pound, and I can get 7 bolts for a dollar, never mind the gas price, rather than buy from that "Highway Robber" at the crossroads hardware 2-1/2 miles from home!
