You must one rough cobb job operator and fixer. 296,000 miles on my Grand National race engine. 136,000 mile son the LQ4 truck engine. Oil doesn't drop from the full to add in 3000miles. Gasser vehicles out there with 300,000 miles and running fine. With just plugs, filters and oil are the norm. It's not 1975 when any engine, if it did actually wheeze to 100,000 miles. It was a worn out, oil burning gutless clunk.
