Depends, About 10 years ago we were young and dumb and my friends and I all ran chips along with many other mods, we had lots of fun and spents lots of money fixing stuff. I got away from the mods as life changed,but I bought a new Dodge with the 6.7 Cummins a couple years ago and wanted to delete the EGR and DPF. I got a programer from H&S that allowed me to run code free and It has 4 power settings(stock-hot). The hot tune is really fun but I would never run it towing and I don't tow with anything but stock power.You can make big power but you'll need to rebuild half the truck to take it. Anyway fast and cheap and it wont reliable,fast and reliable and it won't be cheap.
