Someone run him off? I haven't seen him lately. I've been messing with a 3 cyl CAV rotary pump here. I took the 4 bolts out of the back end of it and sprayed it out with brake cleaner. All the ports had been open and I was worried about having junk inside so I sprayed it all out with brake cleaner. I could see the offset vanes inside. Good thing I did as there was crud in there. Afterwards I shot some PB blaster in there to lubricate it and put the cover back on, put the 4 bolts back in and tightened it down. I wonder if those 4 small bolts (5/16 head) should be torqued? The seal there looked fine so I just put it back in. Ok? I could ask a dozen questions about this pump if someone could tell me about them. Or, if I could find some literature about one I would do my own homework. I'm over my head but not scared. Suggestions and advice are welcome. Thanks -
