Thanks for the suggestions on the carb - I pulled it off the tractor yesterday and opened it up and the new float I had put in two years ago fell apart - the soldering job failed.
I"ve worked on my carb in the past and I realize the TSX-882 is pretty easy to work on - there is some rust in the bowl and I think in one of the needle holes.
Is it worth taking it to a shop to have them rebuild it? I was going to take it to Denny"s but after searching the archives, I"d rather not. Hite in Columbus estimated it would cost me around $140 to reman it with a years warranty so I was thinking about having them do the work.
As for the starter the tab/plug is loose so I am going to have that looked at. Any recommondations for a competent shop in either Columbus or Dayton, OH?
I"m hoping *crosses fingers* at the end of the month I"ll be bushogging again.
