do it i have had bees here on my farm for several years now. they really helped my orchard, an the garden. the bees are very interesting to watch. we enjoy them very much. we did have trouble with one bee keeper not taking very good of them. i got rid of him. now have a very wonderful keeper here. they have 5 hives here right now but have had as many as 13. most of the keepers will want to put a fence around the hives. just make sure they know that they need to keep it mowed up then. here they give us up a gallon of honey a year. dont even think twice about it, do it gene johndeeregene@aol.com
