Buyers want all different types. Alfalfa, grass, alfalfa grass mix. Heavier on the grass, heavier on the alfalfa. I never get it right, but they keep coming back. Whiny horse people anyways. Hay is running from about 90-110 a ton for fair to poor quality cow hay in round or big square bales, up to 200 a ton for horse quality small square bales, if you're willing to sell small quantities, of less then 100 bales. Semi loads of horse quality small square bales seems to be around 150 a ton loaded. All prices negotiable' or course, based on quality and quantity.
