I recently bought an Allis Chalmers G (I'm pretty sure the engine is a Continental N62) that runs good, but it smokes a lot out of the crankcase breather tube. What has me puzzled is that there is no smoke out of the exhaust pipe. If the rings were bad enough to cause that much blow-by, why would it smoke from the breather and not the exhaust? Thanks in advance for any advice
