Man I have seen a lot of dry weather in my 83 yrs. But this heat here in Oklahoma is getting critical.Ninteen days no rain and temp from 101 to 106. Soil tempeture 84 degree a 12 inch. Make you wonder why we pump water 24 hrs. a day cause it does not hardly hold it's own. Have had two cutting and the third is green & growing so guess it is worth it. Heard fom a fellow dairynan in NE Oklahoma he is on a rural water district and the pump went down and do not have money to buy a new pump so everyone is out of water. Cows can go to a creek for water but still lost two, Milking Parlor is a dity mess. Suppose it is about time for the inspector to come and wrie him up.
