a ford with a seperate hyd sump like a 00/01.. 30w would surely make the hyds work and wouldn't blow anything up.. same goes for a loader with seperate sump.. it's not the prefered fluid but would work.
on a machine with hyds and rear end shared..like a 2000/3000 3 cyl it would not be good for the rear end gears.. though the hyds WOULD work.
same for a totaly common setup like an 8n.. again.. hyds would work.. but not good for the tranny or rear end.
what more can you tell us.
ps.. a UTF fluid meeting M2C134D spec is a good catch all.. it's a hyd oil.. tranny oil, power steering oil, diffy oil.. ..e tc.. etc..
