A friend of my Dad's lost his father about 15 years ago due to an idiot trying to pass him and hitting him broadside as he made a left turn on his tractor. Saddly 15 years later some of the same kind of idiots are on the road as I had one pass me that way about two weeks ago. What's really bad is that the idiot had slowed down and had been behind me for about 200 yards so there's no way he didn't notice when I signaled my intention to turn. Still just as I cut the wheel he flew past almost hitting the front end of the tractor. I hope he had his window down cause I cussed him at the top of my lugs til he was out of site....
I think there are several problems at play here. One is that everyone thinks they are so important that they have to hurry up everywhere they go, then, to make matters worse, I don't think any of them were paying attention in drivers ED when they taught what hand signals meant...or do they even bother to teach that anymore?
Regardless I know there are alot of idiots out there either doing their best to either kill me or trying to do something stupid enough in front of a 30,000 plus truck that I kill them. Personally I don't want to hurt or kill anyone but given the choice between them and me, it dang sure ain't gonna be me......
