I can't speak for Gary, but here in southern Mn. it is very hot and humid. Yesterday the temp was 97 with a dewpoint of 82 which broke the old state record for dewpoint. Our saving grace was anywhere from 3 - 7 inches of rain last Friday over a big part of southern Mn. but then again we have lots of drowned out spots in the fields. Corn is tasseling and silking which is about 2 weeks behind last year.
On the other hand this weather is not good for livestock. We have misters on our fat cattle, breeding bulls, and our cows and calves plus fans. The bulls and cows come home on the yard and loafing shed and make a mess instead of staying in the pasture.
