My entire tour of duty was spent at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri so no, I didn't see Bob in Vietnam.
I did however see the show he put on at FLW. Also quite a number of other shows as I was an MP and was assigned security to several of them.
I was personally introduced to Buck Owens after his show when he brought the wheelchair bound daughter of an MP up stage to visit with her and her dad. Sure did make her day.
The Harlem Globetrotters game was a fun show to see in person.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
