Yesterday I was at my neighbor's place, where he has a propane powered standby generator run by a six cylinder engine that looks to be a Chevy or something in that size range. It wasn't getting up to speed so he called the service tec out. The generator had a 3/4" black pipe gas line running to the engine and it was starving out when they revved it up to 60HZ. The service tec said the 3/4" gas line from the tank to the engine was too small, that it really needs a 1" line. I don't know any particulars as to what kind of a supply valve is on the tank. I do know it runs on vapor only. Just a little info. Good luck with the project. Jim
