Got the 1945 M-4 18 ton high speed tractor done today. HOORAY!! Put 116 hours of labor in it in the last 3 weeks. Gonna get it out for the camera tomorrow and then I'll post a few shots. Took around 500 hours to convert it from a rusted hulk to a machine that's running with everything functioning and looking like it should. Wanna come for a ride? There's room for ten passengers besides the driver. It'll shake your dinner down cause it has the same tracks as the Sherman tank and at about 10 MPH it rattles like crazy. The other night I sat in the back seating area with a beer in my hand and just enjoyed the view out the windshield. If you come to the Albert City Threshing Show next weekend you will get to look it over. See ya tomorrow. Jim
