A MF 35 with a properly equipped spear should handle those bales. We handled a lot fo silage bales, just as heavy... with a Fordson Dexta and Ford 860. The MF35 is arguably very much in the same class. The 3 point should lift them and the loader should counter it well enough to steer... We had no loaders on those tractors and spent a LOT of time steering with brakes.
