Let me begin by saying I AM NO MECHANIC. My son"s 98 Ford Taurus"s get up and go got up and went. It runs, but when idling it runs rough or fair at best. Feels like it has no power to move and like no fuel getting to engine. Well I changed the fuel filter tonight and no difference. Where do I look now?]

Well tonight just for fun, I went over put the key in and turned key on and low and behold the fuel pump runs and it starts. What"s up with that? Before this when the temperature got about 88 degrees outside, it would kick and buck like .....no fuel getting to engine and I had to pump it to keep it running. Put a new fuel filter on this also.
