I just got unpacked from 3 days at the half century show. It was my first trip to the show, its a great time and I will be back! It was awesome to see all the people, golfcarts, and side-by-sides!! All it takes is everyone to use a little common sense and courtesy and all goes well. I suppose if your offended or dont like what goes on there then DONT GO. If the "open runway" is such an important deal then all they have to do is announce it on the PA or post it on signs. most of my time was spent in the fields watching folks relive the GOOD OLE' DAYS but I still heard the countless announcements on the PA about the 5 mph speed limit and SAFETY. There where Safety reminder signs posted every few hundred feet all around the grounds but I never seen a thing about an "open runway". Seems there is always some donkey trying to ruin the finer things in life!!! sorry bout the rant but some people just need to learn to enjoy life.
