I am over here in Centerville. At this time we have a fire in Flynn headed for Normangee. Last I heard it was four miles long and two miles wide. Burned Robbins and Concord last night.Have another one coming in from the northeast getting very close. Saw smoke from one down south of Madisonville.Every FD in four counties is out on fire calls. I am getting ready to pack some things incase we have to leave.Grass is very dry and the fires spread quick.
The wind is not helping any. Things are really getting bad. Talk is now of the whole town leaving. Just leaving a few to fight fires. Sure could use some rain and no wind.
