I believe we're in a "generational gap" and it's going to hurt a lot of shows.
The old timers that have been the life's blood in these shows are dying off.
The younger generation (i.e. baby boomers) are just starting to retire, IF they can afford to retire. In a few years there will be more of them to help run these shows. But, you lose a lot of them to their kids' weddings and grandkid functions.
The next generation down is still working and taking care of young kids. Believe me we WANT to be there but life is getting in the way.
