Map is more then accurate from the feeling this morning. When I got up and looked at both weather dials, both registered 38o so it wont be long before the big freeze and snow storms hit. lol. Victor is hauling manure for next years garden so we can have our vegies. Sure had a swell garden this year. Every thing came in like gang busters. Freezer is full,just melons left to get tonight. Some potatoes still in the ground.One peculiar thing with our garden. We shredded all the plants, vines(except tomato )put to use our new Troy built tiller and now we have straggler plants growing up in the garden including corn, tomatoes, cukes, beets etc. Sure looks like after the shredder did its duty we tilled and leveled, so now we have a brand new garden showing up on it's own.lol.I Know it's to good to be happening but it's growing, Won't be growing after tonight. Was wondering if any one else had this happen? Victor just brought in the 3rd load and there is at least 8 more to come. Tried yesterday to haul but the 706 wouldn't start. Had a split coil and a bad battery. Off to Farm & Fleet for a new battery, and O Realy's for the coil. Got it running again.Now both the tractor& bobcat has to be washed,another job. After all this is finished, next comes the wood . Been burning some at night(popular) and some small oak to keep the chill out. Winter is on it's way folks. Keep warm. Regards LOU & Victor.
