Victor just went out and gathered the melons from the garden. Looks like IO get fresh fruit tonight .lol.Gonna beat the frost. Have some wealthy apples left on the tree but don't know if they will fare with the proposed frost line. Gonna grow more next year, so we can see if we can do some up in jars.Got over 55 bags of sweet corn in the freezer, along with multitude of Green peppers,(diced and frozen)along with canned green beans, peas, beets Apples and apple sauce, and apple butter. The big 706 pulled the cultivator through the garden followed by the new tiller. Ground as fine as powder. Boy what a garden. Pictures from Larry's garden was the inspiration for us. He grows a lovey garden and his pictures sure show it. Our thanks for his pictures and the inspiration he provided. time for supper. Regards LOU.
