I worked as a House Carpenter for 20 years and wore Red Wings and some others I got at Farm and Fleet and different shoe stores but the last 12 years of my career I worked as a Carpenter for Raytheon and others in several different Nuclear Power Plants. My work shoe of choice was Wolverine Dura Shock Steel Toe Wellington boots. In 12 years I wore out 4 pair. Most of my shift buddys wore Wolverine or Red Wing so I fit right in. The last 3 years I served as Shift Craft Safety Rep and I walked a lot of miles and the Dura Shocks stood up well to that abuse.
