Thought Id post a couple pictures from Yesterday. Had half a day off and the Turkeys were in the yard when I pulled in, they seem to like hanging around the chicken pen. Spent the afternoon gathering grapes and took some fruit from the Quince Tree. Made some grape jelly and quince preserves. . . first time for me trying the quince. The tree was on the place when I bought it and Id never seen one before. Its like a cross between an apple and a pear, tastes kinka tart raw but the preserves had a sweet honey like taste. Last picture Ive posted before but Ill put it in again, little snake coiled up in the grape cluster when I was gathering them up for some wine. First batch is on its secondary fermentation and looking good!
