Better than removing the Administrator password would be to create a couple of Non-Administrator accounts for family members to use and keep the password on the Administrator.
Microsoft made it a pain to add a user and put it in the correct group (do a Google search and find an answer that makes sense to you). You really shouldn't be online as an Administrator; that's how your computer gets infected with malware.
