I have an 870 that my Father gave me when I was a kid: 3 barrels-vent rib with interchangeable chokes, a smooth slug barrel and a rifled slug barrel. I have had Mossbergs which are very nice and alot of gun for the money, and an Ithaca. The Ithaca was a great gun but it was the lightweight and it packed a whallup (all 12 guages I am talkning here), the one I will never part with is the 870 It is one of the best guns I have ever owned, it is on my list of all time keepers: Rem. 870 wingmaster 12 guage 2 and 3/4 inch Rem.
