I might manage to come down for the show . Is it concours models or working clothes tractors ?. Although I don't really mind concours ones if they want to be judged , they'll need to be right . But I prefer to see working tractors that won't be excluded from attending just because they have an alternator or halogen lights , or more modern rubber . While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
