Have had the same thing with my Vicon...started to keep a 4'+ piece of 12ga copper wire (bare) from an old wiring prject around to use as threading device. Even bent a small hook on one end to thread the twine and pull it through the tubes. Just bend it in half and hang on a bracket when done.
