I want to upgrade my auger. I have an old 8"X60' bottom drive. I would like one with a swing hopper and a lift system to raise it with. Found a Feteral 8X60 on craigslist in my price range. Called the owner and he said it has an orbit motor that you put on the winch to raise and lower and then use the orbit motor to drive the swing out hopper. Can I use my JD 70 or Oliver 88 to run this auger? Not sure about using the orbit motor with older tractor hydraulics. Any thoughts or experiences with this set up? Thanks, Chris
