Built barn owl nest boxes a few years ago, hung them on the south side of the barn, high up, and the first year had a mama and 4 babies. Who grew to be BIG birds. I mean BIG!!! They'd sit in the trees in the back yard, at night, and really make a scary racket when you walked outside. Anyway, I have not had them since. No trace of them. Anybody have an idea what could have happened?
