I'm hoping to find someone, somewhere that has one of these engines sitting around. In a tractor or out. I need some measurements.
The "B" in these IH engines stands for "British." Use in many farm and industrial tractors. B-250, B-275, B-414, 424, 444, 2444, 2424, 354, 364, 384, industrial 3414, 3444, TD-5 crawler, etc.
I have a 3414 backhoe wheel loader and it's parked 800 miles for home. I need the specs on the hydraulic pump drive where it bolts to the crank pulley. It's held on by four bolts and I need to know their spacing. I want to build a new one and have it ready to use next time I travel to where the hoe is.
Note that the ealier farm tractors e.g. the B-250 and B-275 do not have the crank pulleys drilled for the pump drive, like the later engines do.

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
