Not deer, but pheasant hunting neighbor. Neighbor told my dad it wasn"t fair that my dad owned all this property and he couldn"t hunt on it. My dad told him he could buy his own land and pay the taxes on it.
Well, neighbor kept sneaking on while my dad was at work. We had another neighbor that looked out for us while we were at work, first neighbor shot a hen pheasant. 2nd neighbor called the DNR and reported it. Confiscated gun, huge fine, no more problem.
