It's good to hear nothing was removed. I believe the lights and alarms will help depending on how remote the place is. If it is remote enough for day lite raids,lights are not much help. If you feel that intruders are more likly to come at night you can go a step farture when installing lights. Mount a spotlight bulb aimed directly at the closest home. Inform the neighbor and ask if he will call you if and when the light is on. I am not advocating you go confront tresspassers. You could safly asertain wherther an animal,wind,rain or something else caused it to trigger before calling the sheriff.
