Much easier to let 'em believe that all hunters are idiots and jerks, all landowners are saints, and let it go as it was.
I've owned land. I've been a hunter. I've had to deal with idiot neighbors who were landowners as well as idiot hunters.
BUT for gosh sakes, let 'em have their fantasies. I can remember during the Reagan years when having "hope" wasn't ridiculed as it is today, either. Today having hope is considered foolish, and means that, no matter WHO you voted for, you're on the wrong side of the argument. So just let it go, and as the old folks used to say, "don't borry trouble." It's very important to these folks to be "right," so tell 'em they're right and then keep on walkin'.
