Got our first snow 3-4 weeks ago (which is late for here) but the roads have been terrible until the last few days when it got well below freezing.
Warm roads with snow makes nasty slush which is terrible to drive on, even for experienced winter drivers.
I like when its well below freezing and the roads are just a packed mat of snow and smooth to drive on. Sure they are slippery but at least they are predictable.
