Once in the leg by a kid playing with a 22 while I was mowing lawn when I was 16. Couple of more time while on active duty but never hit. And then on a lake here in MN by some kid playing with a pellet gun who thought it would be funny to scare a couple of guys by pinging pellets off the side of an aluminum boat. Saw him point something, then the splash about 2 feet from the boat.....kid was the one who got scared, ran for his house, ditched the pellet gun and was very surprised when my son and I tied up to their dock, I went and knocked on the door while my son retrieved the pellet gun....his parents were not amused by his actions....and were very glad we didn't involve the cops. 10 year old kid.
