They got shot full of holes in Europe. Dad was discharges from a hospital in Texas. Went right home and started a family (me) and farming. In the 90's went to the Va, the doctor ask him why he hadn't signed up for a pension 45 years ago. He replied there were a lot of other guys a lot worse than I was. He had dents and scars over 90 percent of his body! worked every day he was able. has since passed. My hero.
