Back years ago I helped out a farmer near us. The old man had lost a leg, falling from an Allis while the PTO was running. Any time someone new came around he would find a reason to use a shark knife. Once he thought he had their attention he would pause his activity and stab the knife through his jeans and into the “wooden” part of the leg. It was always interesting to watch the newcomer’s reaction.
