I have recently bought two Wal Mart batteries. One replaced a five year old Wal Mart and the other replaced a eight year old Wal Mart battery. I have never had any problem with Wal Mart batteries not outliving their warranyt. These last two purchases, I checked both Advance Auto and Car Quest prices and they were both considerably higher than Wal Mart. One of the other posters mentioned that Wal Mart no longer has Champion batteries. I did not buy a Champion, but, our Wal Mart had Champion's in several sizes. The group 65 I bought was about $89 and the group 65 Champion at Wal Mart with the same cca rating was about $120.
