I have and have been thru just what you describe,diagnosed with Peripherial Artery Desease along with Type 2 diabetes. I can only walk about 1 city block and the calves of each leg start to hurt real bad,about like cramps. I take a pill twice a day which contains Quinine called Hylands Leg Cramps.It is over the counter at walgreens.Helps a lot to control leg cramps.I"ve had angioplsty and stents in each leg so far.Right leg has two stents in.It hurts the most. My Dad suffered with plugged leg Arterys most of his declining years.
