At work we have a 2011 F350 4x4 with about 12K on it and is getting about 11 empty on the road.We traded in a high mileage(275k) 96 350 4x4 with a powerstroke that averaged 18-20 on the road. I used it last week to pick up a skid steer with a tag along trailer and got between 7-8 on a 400 mile trip.(It would have been cheaper to use the Peterbilt rollback that averages 8+) Its been back to the dealer twice now and they can't find anything wrong with it, but they keep saying it will get better as it "gets broken in more and the computer learns how it is driven"
