Good luck to you Allen. My brother used to say, "Anybody can quit smoking - it takes a real man to fight lung cancer." He died of lung cancer in 1980 at age 44. I have to say that he was right - he fought it like a man, but it was a losing fight. Another brother (heavy smoker) died of a massive heart attack at age 50. Another brother (heavy smoker) died of lung/esophagus(SP) cancer, but he made it to age 70. I quit my heavy smoking habit in 1976. I can run farther today than I could when I quit smoking. The health benefits from quitting are obvious. Something is going to get us all, but we don't have to knowingly contribute to it.
