Possible but not likely. More then likely the guy has no clue as to what he has and was told it was a 9N but could well be one of many others. Seen way to may tractors sold as such and they where in fact not as they where sold as. Case in point. Went to an auction a couple years ago and they sold what was said to be a ford 4000. Painted the blue and all of a 4000 but the serial number and modal number told the truth and it was in fact a ford 861
