No expert here, but I think Alzheimers victims are not typically verbose, especially about recent events. I always think of them as rather morose and sullen and physically combatant at times. Sounds almost more like
a manic episode (the up side of bi-polar). I used to work in a Psych facility, and this is how people in a manic phase would behave. Like an
overdose of speed with anti-social behavior thrown into the mix.
Hope he recovers or gets treated for whatever it is. Sounds like a nice guy underneath.
