What are you going to use the truck for? The 3.7LV6 is s not going to have much power; shows 302 HP and 278 Torque, and the torque curve peaks at about 4000 RPM. From about 2000-3000 RPM shows about 250 torque. That will be pretty weak. The 5.0LV8 has 360HP and 380 Torque, and from 200-3000 RPM runs from 300-325 torque. The 5.0LV8 only lists 2 MPG less that the 3.7LV6. I got the 5.0 and have been very pleased with the power so far. The real powerhouse is the new 3.5LV6 EcoBoost, which has twin turbos on it. 365 HP and 420 Torque, and the torque curve is much flatter with about 380 at 2000 and 420 at 3000. Downside is initial cost is higher and it is new engine in 2011. Tom
