Henry Ford gave his friend Tom Edison a late model T. (fiteenth million model T or something like that) I think in the last year of production and was a milestone number of how mnay model T had been produced. It had wire wheels. Model A fords had wire wheels from the start, but they were not the same diameter. I think from 21 inch down to 17 or 18 inch wheels.
